Dr Preeshila Behary, specialist Registrar in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Imperial College.

I qualified in 2005 from Leeds University. I moved to London to undergo my Core Medical Training at Kings’ College Hospital, before securing a Specialist Training post in Endocrinology and Diabetes within the North-West rotation. I am currently working on a PhD at Imperial, researching the mechanisms of weight loss and diabetes remission post Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery.

I have been teaching at both Ealing and Hammersmith MRCP PACES for the last 2 years and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I have also been involved in post-graduate lecturing for the University of Buckingham and facilitating undergraduate medical tutorials at Imperial.
