Amit is a Respiratory SpR on the North-West Thames rotation and is dual training in Intensive Care Medicine in the Oxford Deanery. He is currently doing research into post-lung transplant infections as part of an MRC-funded Chain-Florey Clinical Research Fellowship at Imperial College London.

Amit graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2005, after which he did Foundation training in Glasgow, followed by core medical training at University College Hospital, London
Amit joined the Ealing PACES team this year, having previously served on the faculty on a number of courses, with teaching topics including bronchoscopy, pleural ultrasound, pleural procedures and introduction to Intensive Care (BASIC).
